About Me
Hello! I am currently working as a data engineer at Tiger Global Management. Previously, I've worked as a software engineer at Vested, and as a data and software engineer at Big Little Robots. I have a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Columbia University's engineering school. Columbia helped me unlock this unbounded curiosity for the world and a love for knowledge. I frequently embark on deep dives about all sorts of things, so figured this website could be a nice place to log my findings and the work they inspire.
Vested helps startup employees exercise their options and creates funds of well-diversified startup equity to better enable investment in the venture capital asset class. At Vested, I worked on the company website, which entails a broad range of software (TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Vercel, Sentry, MongoDB, AWS) and enables business operation. Big Little Robots is a data consulting startup that also builds data products. At Big Little Robots, I spent a lot of time working with big data (BigQuery, Snowflake), data transformation (SQL, Python, dbt), and orchestration (Airflow). The software engineering side of my role entailed writing and documenting code for projects and APIs, managing infrastructure (GCP), and performance optimization.
I took a pretty hefty course load at Columbia, so ended up graduating early. My courses mostly consisted of systems-based, lower-level computer science classes, though I also dabbled in philosophy and math. You can find a list of all notable courses I've taken here.
